I am currently serving as a Critical Operations Supervisor at QTS Data Centers, where I lead efforts to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of our facilities. With a focus on maintaining, establishing, and implementing robust facility policies and procedures, I ensure all operations meet federal, state, and local regulations. My role involves developing and managing emergency response plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, leading preventive maintenance on crucial equipment, and overseeing work orders and budgets for maintenance tasks. I supervise and monitor both critical and non-critical system equipment, including managing third-party contractors to guarantee safe and compliant operations. In addition to my technical responsibilities, I lead responses to emergency situations and customer concerns, review and implement operating budgets, and work closely with staff and subject matter experts to solve operational problems and authorize procedures. I am committed to maintaining positive communication with all levels of staff and management, ensuring effective operational programs through performance monitoring and best practices. A key aspect of my role is supervising, training, and mentoring Critical Environment Technicians, setting performance goals, and fostering their professional development. I also ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials and provide updates and reporting to senior management. My experience in this role allows me to leverage my leadership and technical skills to support the continuous improvement and emergency preparedness of our data center operations.
