About Eric Porr

With over 35 years of experience in the waste management and renewable energy industries, I am a seasoned professional who is passionate about finding sustainable solutions for plastic waste. As a RNG feedstock consultant, a feedstock buyer agent, and a renewable plastic feedstock buyer at Brightmark, I leverage my extensive network, negotiation skills, and market knowledge to source and secure feedstock for the production of renewable natural gas (RNG) and plastic renewal technology (PRT). My core competencies include operations management, logistics management, team building, and business development. I have successfully managed and operated multiple hauling companies, landfills, transfer stations, and MRFs, as well as negotiated and operated acquisitions of small to medium sized companies. I have also developed greenfield landfills, transfer stations, and recycling breakdown centers, and secured large municipal contracts for solid waste, recycling, and disposal. Additionally, I have coordinated disaster response for hurricanes Andrew and Charlie with various governmental and private entities.
