Eric J. Purdy has worked with FedEx Services since 2005. Starting as a front line sales executive; he was promoted to the position of Strategic Development Account Executive in 2010 at which point he was responsible for half of his sales team's major accounts with a territory encompassing This role involved business development, contract negotiation, and account management. He is a leader and acts as a mentor with a number of peers. 2013 Eric interviewed and was selected to participate in the 2014 FedEx Western Division LeadUp! Program, which is a premier leadership development program designed to develop future managers for FedEx Services. As a participant Eric has developed and led region presentations and coordinated pricing development tools with key solutions personnel in Memphis. In 2014 Eric was selected to become a Sales Manager in Bellevue, WA. He was responsible for a team of 10 Business Sales-Field AE's that range from Seattle OR to Portland, OR and Las Vegas, NV. Business Sales-Field AE's are very high energy and are considered the "Hunters," of FedEx Sales. Over 75% of their time is spent finding new opportunities and developing new relationships. In 2016 Eric was promoted to District Sales Manager in Spokane WA. Managing a team of nine account executives, he is responsible for a district encompassing mi.². The district includes all of Montana, Eastern Washington, in northern Idaho. Prior to FedEx, Eric worked for Southland Industries Inc. located in Garden Grove, CA. as an Service Sales Account Manager. Eric Specialized with new lead generation and development from cold calling and in-the-field prospecting. With key successes during his first two years Eric highlighted his desire for success and goals of a long term personal growth in sales and management. Eric has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of La Verne, with a concentration in Marketing. He also has achieved Associates of Science and Associates of Arts degrees from Pasadena City College.
