About Eric Remme
I used to avoid writing at all costs. I studied classical music at an intense conservatory. Upon discovering the classical music industry was not as booming as I for some reason thought it would be, I picked up a camera and give the film industry a go. After years of filming everything imaginable (commercials, narrative, docs, even a HBO standup special for Ellen Degeneres), I worked on a movie that changed my life. I fell in love with story. It was funny. Emotional. Beautiful. That's when I realized I don't care about lenses and lighting. They're interesting and I was good at it, but I really care about expressing thoughts. Feelings. Telling a story. And I can do that just as well—if not better—with words.
