Background
About Eric Rickey Larson
Why education, innovation and facilitation? Raised, in part, by a brilliant engineer and innovator, I saw firsthand a facility for study with a growth mindset and how that boosted creativity and ingenuity. Dad showed us how his passions fueled his award-winning inventions. Some social success also occurred as my parents began courting while in a company play, organized by my activator mom, who also later started a series of small businesses. Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math came recommended from dad. Making people a priority playfully proceeded from my other parent, who supported some social experiences that really engaged us. As people began to fascinate me, I studied businesses and communication psychology. Some strange opportunity to play Jim Carrey (at parties, corporate events, and festivals) carried me from memorized impressions on through spontaneous comedic improvisations. We went from wild work as a solo entrepreneur and celebrity impressionist to working in teams of entertainers and entrepreneurs, listening and building as a consultant, coach, and interaction facilitation friend. Now, presently, I hold to the key that great interaction and collaboration involves integrating an interactive, agile process of communication. With this ability to learn and adjust to newly discovered needs, others realize we are approachable as they contribute necessary input. We get things done that really need to get done as people have fun [customers, board members, key suppliers, and key partners - including key employees and influencers.](Of course, let us re-emphasize the fact that the work really does need to get done in FUNctional team dynamics.) Bonus: deeper learning, innovation, and engagement within networks, interviews, sprints, presentations, impro practice, professional negotiations, and other creative collaborations. • Innovative blended educational background with thousands of hours of cutting-edge coaching, training, and experimenting and 102+ credit hours from more traditional colleges and universities (chosen carefully for unique quality learning opportunities) • Collected thousands of relevant books, articles, links, videos, interventions and simulations; engaged in an ongoing program of training, workshopping, and engaging virtual opportunities as they arise. • Consulting in, co-writing, and co-hosting virtual meetings with Zoom and other powerful platforms. As we get interested in AI, perhaps we could consider Authentic Interactions through Agile Influence and Adaptive Intelligence leading to Actual Innovation.
