About Eric Ring

As an active-duty U.S. Air Force law enforcement professional with over 17 years of service, I currently serve as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of the Reports and Analysis branch. In this role, I oversee incident reporting, data analysis, trend identification, and records management to support force protection, investigations, and strategic decision-making. This experience has sharpened my skills in data-driven crime prevention, accountability, and interagency coordination. I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, preparing to transition into civilian law enforcement with a focus on crime scene investigation and forensic photography. My professional background has instilled a deep understanding of criminal justice procedures, investigative documentation, and leadership under pressure—qualities I aim to carry forward into the next chapter of my career. Whether supporting mission-critical operations or mentoring junior personnel, I bring integrity, attention to detail, and a passion for public service. I’m especially drawn to roles where I can merge my analytical skills and creative interests to contribute to solving complex cases.
