About Eric Rupp

While my resume is eclectic, the common thread is finding success by infusing my work with energy, creativity, and connectivity to bring insightful solutions to life. My experience started with design work on missile propulsion systems, building traditional Spanish stone homes, structural design for municipal art installations, single and multi-family residences, and other landmark structures. After some life-altering travel experiences, including the reimagining of a university in Bolivia as the director of operations, I joined a Seattle travel business, doubling revenue in two years as Managing Director, creating award winning new products and partnerships. Concurrently I helped form and launch a new venture focused on fostering the positive impacts travel can have on destination and traveler alike, including authoring a book on how to create transformative travel experiences that has since been published in 16 countries. After Covid closures, I started a building company, The DADU, to construct environmentally responsible homes for local families. My most recent focus has been the sizable project of personally designing, and building my family's new home, fulfilling a dream of mine since childhood. With this project coming to a close, my mind and heart return to the travel space and how to help connect travelers with the beautiful world around them.
