About Eric Ryan

I’m currently the Engineering Lead for FTG Aerospace, a leading manufacturer of illuminated cockpit panel and simulated avionics. In this role, I work with a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to create a high-quality product that exceeds the demands of our customers. Our team consistently exceeds customer expectations for engineering design. While the workload can be stressful at times we enjoy seeing the final product and knowing our customers or highly satisfied. Through my experience at FTG Aerospace, I have developed a strong core of engineering design principles, a diverse knowledge of military and commercial specifications, and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. I truly enjoy my work and am always eager to connect with other engineers. My favorite aspect of my job is working with customers through preliminary and critical design reviews to ensure we flush out any potential issues for either party. It is always fun to work as a team and gain perspective from multiple points of view. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Texas.
