About Eric Ryan

Eric's background as concert musician, educator, and software/audio engineer has fueled his passion for connecting musicianship, music production, and music education with cutting edge technology. Professional Guitarist and Violinist with over 20 years performing, recording, and teaching experience in Manhattan. Arts program director and program designer. Software designer and data architect. Online, multi-platform content director and creator. Established classroom and online music programs at the New School, The Abrons Arts Center, and for such organizations as LEAP, Midori & Friends, Creative Music Programs, Harlem School for the Arts, and the Children's Aid Society, with grants from the Wallace Foundation and the YAI initiative. Eric also teaches privately at his own studio in Upper Manhattan near Columbia University. Consummate performer in genres ranging from solo guitar work, to orchestral, rock, blues, folk, and jazz ensembles. Studio, commercial, film, and creative projects as both instrumentalist and arranger. Broad experience in the music production industry, software engineering, digital audio engineering, live sound, and project production.
