I have the responsibility to ensure all requirements of the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts (FOIA/PA) are accurately and consistently fulfilled, and the release of the documents is followed in accordance with administrative regulatory procedures. Resourceful, results-driven, and team-oriented professional with a track record of rigorously executing tasks, as well as managing, organizing, and implementing various work assignments while balancing and meeting deadlines. Various projects included spearheading the development and testing of Standard Operating Procedures that would fit the needs of my office, this also involves the assessment of new guidance, develop and suggest new policies to management and other personnel to address evolving issues related to processing, redaction, and information disclosure of our FOIA requests. I am also responsible for safeguarding and the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and Protected Health Information (PHI) within the U.S. Coast Guard.
