About Eric Schaffer

Eric has been working in the Financial Services industry since 2003. He has been focused on helping high net worth individuals, families and business owners achieve their financial objectives. Eric helps guide proper asset allocation, counsel on liability management and assist in estate and tax planning strategies - a total wealth management strategy. Eric also focuses on all interest rate sensitive products including cash management and fixed income instruments. He works with public and private organizations in managing their retirement plans. His team functions as the quarterback in helping clients with virtually every aspect of their financial lives by establishing objectives, developing an appropriate strategy and recommending solutions based upon client risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, overall investment goals and the costs associated with the recommendation. Eric draws upon the breadth and depth of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and its strategic partners to help connect all the pieces of his clients’ financial lives. Eric holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designations and he has a MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Eric holds current Series 7, 66 and 31 FINRA registrations. Eric and his wife Nancy and their children Jordan, Allie and Ben live on Long Island, NY.
