I spent my early career in the outdoor retail industry focusing on backcountry skiing and climbing before returning to university and pursuing my degree in applied mathematics. I thoroughly enjoyed the industry but wanted a different challenge. Since completing my degree, I’ve worked in the Energy sector as an engineer, manager, and director. I enjoy generating novel solutions that combine my eye for data-driven analytics, strategic thinking, and engineering form and function with my social intelligence to assemble cross-functional teams providing world-class deliverables. Throughout my career, I’ve been instrumental in driving large-scale projects and programs that have resulted in excellent value for my employer and our customers. For example, I created asset integrity programs in partnership with multiple utility clients, saving them tens of millions by deferring unnecessary CAPEX spending. I also led an Enterprise Revenue Shift initiative for an energy services company, generating millions in revenue by aligning typically unaligned business units and services to provide cohesive, turn-key solutions. My colleagues view me as fair and flexible with a purpose, noting the stable leadership I’ve provided during these unprecedented times. As a seasoned, results-driven professional, I am skilled at navigating and growing complex business operations with global teams through periods of change and uncertainty, managing risks and obstacles, penetrating new markets, and consistently exceeding customer expectations. I am especially adept at breaking down silos and creating bridges between unconnected services for more comprehensive deliverables while stimulating a strong sense of engagement among stakeholders.
