Eric is a global media executive currently focused on distributing Newsmax as VP, International Content Distribution. Eric's expertise is in worldwide OTT, pay TV, FAST channels, smart TV and digital distribution. Previously, Eric was Senior Director of Business Development and Global Content Distribution at Viacom International. In this role, he worked to source, develop and negotiate new business opportunities covering all businesses verticals (linear, digital, original development/production, events, and commerce) across all of Viacom properties (Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, South Park). In addition, he was responsible for commerce and licensing revenue, MCN partnerships, and global operations. Prior to Viacom, Eric worked at Fox, MLBAM, and ESPN Internet Ventures Business Development for affiliate, SVOD, VOD, advanced advertising, program sales, and ad sales. In these roles he has worked on broadcast, digital TV, mobile, and online platform strategies, ad optimization (through partnerships with ad networks, exchanges, and DSPs), casual gaming initiatives, merger & acquisition exploration, and content/editorial.
