About Eric Schramm

Eric Schramm is a seasoned business management executive boasting over 15 years of expertise in business ownership and operations leadership. His focus spans various critical areas such as business development, strategic planning, technology implementation, branding, marketing, and advertising. At Erie Shoreline Properties, Eric and his team have achieved remarkable success by cultivating both newly established (ground-up) ventures and acquired operations, transforming them into prosperous businesses across diverse industries, including real estate, automotive, hospitality, recreation, and lodging. Before his tenure at Erie Shoreline Properties, Eric spent six years at Honeywell International, where he served as a senior automotive Product Design Engineer until 2008. In this role, he collaborated with original equipment and aftermarket clients, taking the lead on numerous Fram® filtration product lines and spearheading new product introductions. Notably, Eric was granted several patents for his innovative design of a new exhaust technology during his tenure. In addition to his corporate achievements, Eric actively contributes to the community. He has been a dedicated Board Member of the Ottawa County Health Department since 2018. Furthermore, Eric volunteers as Captain on the Catawba Island Volunteer Fire Department, showcasing his commitment as a firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for well over a decade. Residing in Ohio with his wife, Theresa, and son, Benjamin, on Catawba Island along the southern shore of Lake Erie, Eric is deeply engaged in both his professional and personal pursuits. In his leisure time, he vacations and travels with his family, coaches his son’s youth soccer team, indulges in playing the acoustic guitar, pursues fly fishing and skeet shooting, and takes full advantage of the offerings presented by Lake Erie and the surrounding islands.
