McRoberts & Hartis, P.C.(M&H) is an environmental law firm which provides environmental, land use, and litigation law services to a varied group of national real estate lenders, loan servicers, and equity-ownership entities.Mr. Schwartz is an Environmental Specialist and Environmental Due Diligence Manager for the firm's Kansas City, Mo, office and offers services which includes desktop review, technical analysis, and quality control of reports prepared by national environmental consulting firms. Environmental reports prepared for and reviewed by M&H include numerous Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II subsurface investigations, asbestos and mold surveys, and environmental remediation reports. Environmental projects encompass numerous retail, multifamily, office, hotel, and industrial properties which are assessed for risks associated with hazardous materials, petroleum storage tanks, asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, mold, radon, and other impacts associated prior and current land usages. Prior to joining M&H, Mr. Schwartz previously served as an Environmental Geologist for environmental consulting firms investigating cleanup sites and performing environmental due diligence. Mr. Schwartz is a Missouri Registered Geologist and is an AHERA-certified asbestos inspector / management planner. Mr. Schwartz received his B.S. in Geology from the University of Central Missouri in 1997 and his M.S. in Urban Environmental Geology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2001.
