I'm a 42-year-old living with my family in Valley Center, Kansas. I am currently the Executive Director of the Valley Center Chamber of Commerce. I am responsible for adding and maintaining businesses as members of the chamber, along with working with them to promote and network throughout the area. I am also responsible for planning and carrying out many of the town's events, including our annual 2 day Fall Festival. I also work as a part time merchandiser for Tortilla King, my responsibilities include going to area stores and filling chips and tortillas left in the back room by the regular route driver, and making sure product is rotated. My sisters and I own a small snow cone stand in Valley Center, and my wife and I own the local event venue as well. Previously I worked as a special need's paraprofessional in an elementary classroom. Prior to that I worked eighteen years in grocery retail. The last twelve of which I was management.
