About Eric Seaborg

I have extensive experience in education administration and operations working from both sides of the table. After a 25-year higher education career working and teaching on campus, I transitioned to consulting and advising on managing risk in the education industry with an insurance carrier and several brokers. My professional standard is to provide innovative results-oriented solutions by orchestrating diverse organizational ideals. Regardless of my occupation, my objective is to enhance internal and external partnerships through the strength of my communication, critical and creative thinking, business insight, and understanding the viewpoint of others. These interpersonal skills have empowered me to bring out the best in those around me which contributes to the success of any organization I represent. Throughout my career, I have transformed teams through a management style of analyzing resources to extract untapped individual strengths within the workforce. My approach to problem-solving is visionary believing that the best comes through a collaborative mix of traditional and contemporary thinking. In turn, I’m respected and trusted by my peers, and, my employer profits from the creation of organizational loyalty I instill in others. I love strategic planning and the challenges of navigating through issues to build a strong workplace culture. In the end, it is all about connecting the individual to the “big picture”. The foundation of my professional success is built upon the education I received earning both a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mass Communication from Towson University. I’m fortunate to have been an adjunct faculty member at Towson University with the opportunity to share my applied experience and knowledge with students. I’m a firm believer in “do what you love”, so outside of work, you’ll find me occupied in animal welfare issues, podcasting, enjoying my passion for the theatre, engaged with my thoroughbred horse ownership, and anything involving family and friends.
