Background
About Eric Seidlitz
Driven by a passion for good design, I always wanted to study product design. However, for practical reasons, I chose mechanical engineering instead. TU Dresden was the obvious choice due to my social ties—and as it turned out, it offered a specialization in Technical Design, which proved to be the perfect combination.During my studies, I worked as a student trainee at UXMA (formerly ma-design) in Kiel, where I contributed to industrial design projects for clients such as Claas, Dräger, Hako, Homag, BHS Corrugated, LD Systems and Sennheiser. My desire to follow designs beyond the concept phase led me to a role as a design engineer at the med-tech startup anvajo. There, I was involved in every step of the development process—from idea to finished product.Today, I bring that experience to Mana Robotics in Dresden, where I lead design for our food robotics platform. As Head of Design, I’m responsible for the full user experience and cover product design, UI/UX, corporate identity, system architecture, mechanical design, prototyping, and series production.
