About Eric Sika

With over 10 years of experience managing high-impact agricultural and food security programs across the Democratic Republic of the Congo, I specialize in value chain development, agribusiness advisory, and monitoring & evaluation. I’ve led complex, donor-funded projects—particularly with USAID, FAO, WFP, RIKOLTO, HIVE and MSI—working closely with government institutions, civil society, and the private sector. As a trusted technical advisor and project leader, I bring strategic insight, operational excellence, and a collaborative mindset to everything I do. My work has strengthened food systems, enhanced smallholder livelihoods, and contributed to inclusive, sustainable development in fragile and post-conflict settings. I’m passionate about driving systemic change in African food systems through innovation, partnership, and evidence-based solutions. Currently, I serve as Program Management Specialist for USAID/DRC, where I oversee a portfolio of agriculture and food security programs aligned with the Feed the Future strategy.
