At UPS, I serve as Co-Chair of the CHSP, where I focus on injury prevention, mentoring, wellness initiatives, and safety audits. My hands-on experience in these areas has fueled my passion for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as I actively pursue formal certification to grow my career in this vital field. In my current role, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct facility audits, review incidents, and lead safety programs that drive compliance and improve team well-being. I also mentor new employees, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to prioritize safety in their daily tasks. These efforts are complemented by my background in training, injury analysis, and workplace compliance. Beyond my work at UPS, I bring additional experience in maintenance and inspections from my role as a Janitor at Le Cavalier de Lasalle. These roles have developed my adaptability, interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving—all of which are crucial in fostering a culture of safety.
