About Eric Sobkowicz

As Graycon’s Senior Internal Systems Admin I am responsible for all internal tools and infrastructure. My career development within Graycon has been substantial, I started as a team member on the service desk, moved into a senior role dealing with escalations and projects for clients, before taking over managing the internal infrastructure. I am currently working on upgrading our server infrastructure to Server 2016, and implementing PowerShell based automations. My previous roles have allowed me to gain experience in troubleshooting small and medium business environments. While leading the internal team has given me the opportunity to maintain, develop, and implement more complex solutions. I have worked extensively with the following technologies- VMware and Hyper-V hypervisors- Storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and Local Server storage- Windows Server 2003-2016 including AD, NPS, ADFS for O365 and SAML based SSO, File, Print, internal CAs, and IIS- MS SQL 2005-2017- Exchange 2013-2016 including O365 hybrid and standalone setups- Imaging with WDS and MDT- Backup products such as Veeam, Backup Exec, Avepoint, and Barracuda- Building, maintaining and improving RMM tools such as Kaseya- Building automation with PowerShell to improve efficiency and consistency.
