He excels in bridging the gap between market needs and technology solutions, inspiring management and product development teams, as well as customers and partners with a clear strategic product vision. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of DC Product Innovation and Engineering at EVBox, Eric leads the technology vision and strategy, product management, hardware design, engineering, user experience, diagnostics, technical support, certification, and compliance teams. Eric is also the driving force behind the groundbreaking Troniq Modular product line, delivering modular solutions with power capacities of up to 400 kW. EVBox is a global leader in sustainable mobility, providing intelligent, scalable charging infrastructure and software for electric vehicles worldwide, with over charging points across 70 countries. At SwitchESS, Eric leverages his expertise in embedded electronics and software to develop cutting-edge cell switching technology for battery energy storage systems (BESS). In 2007, Eric founded EVTRONIC, a pioneering provider of DC chargers for electric vehicles. As CEO, he spearheaded the company's growth, establishing strategies for evolution and development across financial, managerial, and technical domains. Recognizing the industry landscape, Eric strategically merged EVTRONIC with EVBox in July 2018, capitalizing on economies of scale, boosting R&D efforts, and expanding the global footprint. Simultaneously, he founded SwitchESS in June 2018, focusing on disruptive all-in-one architecture for battery energy storage systems. Eric's career began at the University laboratory 'IMS,' where he worked as an engineer specializing in Energy Storage Systems and Power Electronics. He also contributed to education by teaching embedded electronics at Bordeaux 1 University and the ENSEIRB-MATMECA engineering school for 15 years.
