Background
About Eric Stine
For every major shift in technology over the past two decades, from the first wave of digital marketing, through mobile and cloud, to today’s AI era, Sitecore has helped the world’s leading brands stay ahead by building experiences that inspire loyalty and drive growth. As CEO, I’m focused on one thing: outcomes. Sitecore is built for brands who want to capture attention, convert it into action, and create great experiences their customers will never forget. My journey to Sitecore has taken me from SAP to Qualtrics, Skillsoft, and Elemica. What I’ve learned along the way is simple: growth comes from clarity, execution, and ownership. Run it like you own it. Show up. Keep the main thing the main thing. When you do that, you build trust — with customers, employees, and partners. And trust is what makes transformation possible. At Sitecore, we don’t just keep pace with change. We set it. Storytelling has always been my compass. I grew up in New York, where my parents scraped together tickets to Broadway shows and my dad filled Sunday afternoons with cast albums: A Chorus Line, Company, Gypsy. Theater became my refuge as a teenager who found belonging in high school musicals, and it’s remained a constant ever since. That passion led me to co-produce The Outsiders, the Broadway adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s classic novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s film; and Buena Vista Social Club, the Broadway adaptation of the award-winning album and documentary — both stories about resilience, belonging, and identity. The productions earned 23 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, and won 9. More importantly, they reminded me why stories matter: they connect, they inspire, they endure. At Sitecore, I carry the same lesson. Technology will keep shifting. But the power of a great story, whether on stage or in a brand experience, is timeless.
