Institutional asset management leader with deep insurance expertise. I help oversee Wellington’s Americas Institutional Group, a diverse team of relationship professionals who partner with 1,400+ public funds, corporations, insurers, nonprofits, endowments, foundations, and family offices across the US, Canada, and Latin America. We were recently ranked #1 of 54 asset managers for institutional thought leadership, which we offer our clients to help them establish investment policy and achieve their investment objectives. For the past 10 years I have also led our Financial Reserves Relationship Management Team, a dedicated team of trusted advisors and risk managers who partner with our life, property and casualty, health, and specialty insurers to establish long-term investment strategy and policy guidelines, evaluate portfolio risks and performance, and solve complex investment challenges. Our team – which is unique in the industry for its deep understanding of the nuanced financial, accounting, and regulatory complexities facing insurance companies, was awarded 2020 Investment Innovation of the Year by Insurance Asset Risk for helping insurers consider the impact of climate risks on their portfolios, and awarded 2020 Fixed Income Manager of the Year by Environmental Finance for our ESG ratings methodology. I believe that the new decade we have just entered looks more treacherous from a risk perspective and more challenging for asset owners from a return perspective than recent prior years; I look forward to sharing our experience to help clients and future clients successfully navigate what comes next.
