With over 25 years in the roofing industry, I, Eric Thomas, bring a wealth of experience to both commercial and residential projects. As the co-founder of The Roof Clinic, I’ve devoted my career to mastering the intricacies of roofing construction and project management. I thrive on the challenges of this field and am deeply motivated by a genuine desire to serve others and advance the roofing industry. My qualifications include the HAAG Roofing Inspector Certification (2011), Xactimate Cost Estimation Certification (2013), and various Preferred Contractor roof installation programs for both commercial and residential suppliers (2015). I’ve also completed specialized courses such as the Ecostar Designer Shake Applicator Class (2019), GAF Low Slope Application Class, Mule-Hide Certification (2022), and Tramex Water Leak Detection Certification (2023). I serve as the primary advisor for projects over $5M, where my focus on meticulous project management ensures exceptional execution. My ability to evaluate project performance, manage risks, and communicate insights has been key to our continued success. I have honed my skills as a certified HAAG roof specialist inspector, working with a leading roofing firm. This role involved managing a variety of projects and provided me with a deep understanding of insurance policies, storm damage assessments, and customer service. My experience in negotiating with vendors, recruiting and retaining top talent, and overseeing operations and subcontractor coordination laid the foundation for my current role, where I continue to lead complex projects with precision and uphold the highest standards of excellence.
