I’m seeking a Director of Operations, Program Manager or Vice President role and am the perfect fit for these roles because I have the following relevant skills: strategy, policy development, portfolio management, operations management, integrating across functional team members, leading large organizations or small teams, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and an emphasis on quality. Let’s be honest, what I am really seeking is the right place to fit in. A place where I can spend many years working with good people who bring the best out of me while I try to bring the best out of them. I have many accomplishments I can point to, but the best accomplishments have been as part of a team – either leading or following. While I am confident in my individual abilities, what sets me apart from others is my focus on the people around me. I love to mentor and train others and then watch those people succeed. My most profound experiences have been collaborative experiences where the best ideas have come from brainstorming and white boarding sessions. The best moments, my favorite moments, are when the members of the team play off each other’s ideas and creative solutions are explored that were not on the radar minutes before. There is an incredible value in implementing those ideas - the team believes in themselves and in their leadership, it becomes a high trust environment that leads to high preforming teams. That is what I am seeking. I want to be part of a high trust, high performing team. I want to say yes to that team’s success for the long term.
