About Eric Valkner

I have over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, I work for Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Bio Analysts in the Bioburden laboratory. Previous to that, I worked as a Purification Operator in API. I am well qualified in all aspects of cGMP, SOP usage and safety. My biggest goal is to work smarter and not harder while adhering to regulatory requirements. I was the lead to implement 5S (an organization system) at my workplace. By creating a workflow, inventorying supplies and taking employee physical limitations into account, I was able to centralize and optimize testing activities. Creating an inventory and order process, limited the possibility of overstocking or throwing away expired excess. I was the lead in the implementation of the Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program. By tracking the at risk behaviors we’ve increased safety, decreased near-miss instances and we’re more aware of our environment.
