About Eric Vandenberg

I have several years of academic and employment background in areas such as aquatic ecology, aquatic toxicology, environmental impacts management, and sustainable aquaculture. I am driven by working outdoors with fish, wildlife, and nature. I have had the opportunity to apply my skills and training in many different parts of the country including the Northwest Territories, southern Alberta, and the coastal regions of British Columbia. I am dedicated to personal and professional self-improvement as well as giving my time in service to others. I am an experienced member of Toastmasters International, practicing critical communication skills and also serving as a club leader and a mentor. My goal is to apply my knowledge in biology, my interest in the natural world, and my experience as a communicator to conservation programs directed at the beautiful aquatic ecosystems that provide us with numerous benefits, as well as the other natural systems with which they are connected.
