About Eric Veiel

Eric Veiel is the head of U.S. Equity, chair of the Equity Steering Committee, and a member of the Management Committee. In addition, he is a co-portfolio manager of the US Structured Research Equity Strategy (SRS) and is a member of the portfolio oversight team. Mr. Veiel is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc, and T. Rowe Price International Funds. He was previously a co-director of Equity Research for North America. From 2010 to 2014, he was the portfolio manager of the Financial Services Equity Strategy and financial services sector team leader, covering life insurance, asset managers, money-centered banks, and investment banks. Mr. Veiel has 17 years of investment experience, 11 of which have been with T. Rowe Price. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, he was employed by Wachovia Securities as a senior equity analyst, covering health insurers and pharmacy benefit managers. Mr. Veiel earned a B.B.A, magna cum laude, in finance from James Madison University. He also holds an M.B.A, with concentrations in finance and accounting, from the Washington University, John M. Olin School of Business, in St. Louis, where he was a Charles F. Knight Scholar. Mr. Veiel also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
