About Eric Vest

Over the course of my work career, I received the employee of the month award 3 times. The first time with Fed Ex Home Delivery Services, which was the first professional position I ever held in the workforce at the age of 19. At Food4Less, I was the first to receive employee of the month twice at a single store location. In my first year in the security industry, I went from rookie to supervising armed guard at my first post in Pico Rivera, Ca with Public Safety Services. Then with my time, at Provision Protective Services, after my first month of employment as a flex officer, I was offered my first full time position to which was a single manned post. In a short amount of time, I learned a great deal from my previous employer at Provision Protective Services who was a 20 year veteran with the LAPD. I was taught police codes, California Law, police report procedures, crime scene procedures, etc. I dealt with armed robbery, burglary, transient activity, a deceased resident and assisted the responding Officer with keeping the potential crime scene clear of contamination. After being hired at AlliedBarton, in my first week, I worked at The San Bernardino Hall Of Records and The San Bernardino County Probation Office. This was originally meant to be a temporary placement while waiting for a permanent post to open, but with the recommendations of the Probation Officers and Lead Security Officer, it was highly recommended that I not be moved and remain permanently at the Probation Office. I work around AB109 probationers and assisted and provided useful information to Probation Officers on a daily basis. I’ve now entered the Federal Government as a TSO for the TSA and will continue to grow, learn, and adapt to my everyday surroundings.
