Passionate about cinema & music, graduated as an engineer in France (equivalent MSc), with a focus on Maths and Image Processing. Started my career in VFX industry in 2010. Currently at WetaFx leading the development of our shading system called Squid- 2022-2023: Unity acquisition, supporting WetaFx as Squid Lead- 2018-2022: Development of Squid, a multi-target shading pipeline, with a code generator at its core, integrated into Houdini Solaris. The first project to use the technology was Guardians Of The Galaxy 3- 2016-2018: Shader Writer at Weta Digital- 2014-2016 : Rendering Supervisor of the Dneg Singapore office- 2010-2014: member of the Lighting & Rendering core-team at Dneg London. Writing the first physically-plausible shading framework of the company. Contributor of open source dneg_shaders and dneg_bxdfs projects for Clarisse Isotropix- Speaker Talk at Kre8tif!
