About Eric Wahlgren

What’s it take to usher private companies to successful exits? Market demand, expert timing, and among other things, serious storytelling. As a senior content marketer and digital strategist, I’ve been lucky to have been part of the early marketing teams that helped Facebook, Dropbox, and Pinterest go public. My sweet spot? Building and scaling the content engines that helped put those companies on the map. Over the past decade or so in tech, I’ve built out channels like websites, email marketing, sales content and case study programs, to name a few. All told, I’ve created 500+ marketing assets (e.g, social posts, case studies, videos, blog posts, trend reports, infographics, sales decks, thought leadership articles) used by C-suites, comms, and IR, as well as sales and marketing teams. Marketing leader and individual contributor—I’ve been both. My philosophy: Find the best people to collaborate with, and do whatever it takes to grow brand love and incremental revenue. I don’t just love helping brands grow. Outside of the office, I’m committed to helping future leaders take the next steps in their journeys toward fulfilling lives. I volunteer as a college coach for ScholarMatch.org, which works to get first-generation and low-income students into college. I stay grounded with my cold plunges. Clichéd, I know. But for me, that means swimming in San Francisco Bay at least twice a week as a member of the South End Rowing Club. Training myself to brave 48-degree water without a wetsuit makes other challenges seem a little more surmountable.
