About Eric Watson

Eric is a Partner at PwC within the Deals practice based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Eric enjoys advising clients through transformative events and organizational maturity by solving problems with sustainable outcomes. He has a passion for coaching and developing people by fostering a culture of excellence amongst his teams and clients. Eric is a seasoned advisor who delivers strategic and technical advice to cross-functionally manage and execute capital market transactions. Eric specializes in leading pre-IPO clients through the process of preparing to ‘go public’ and ‘be public’, and believes every successful IPO begins with an organizational readiness assessment. Eric also specializes in guiding clients through the full deal lifecycle creating value through acquisitions and divestitures. He has deep experience in the technology sector, among others. Prior to joining the Deals practice, Eric began his career at PwC in the Audit practice where he served public and private company clients in all stages of size, growth, and maturity. Eric earned his MBA in Finance and BS in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University-Bloomington. He is a CPA in California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work, you can find Eric at the local park, where he and his wife spend their time wearing out their two young kids.
