As a litigation attorney at Fraser Stryker, I focus on white collar criminal defense, insurance defense, and a range of civil litigation matters. My background as a prosecutor gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to anticipate the strategies of the opposing side and advocate effectively for my clients—whether they’re facing government investigations, criminal charges, or complex civil disputes. Having worked on both sides of the courtroom, I understand how prosecutors build their cases, which helps me craft strong defense strategies for my clients. I guide individuals and businesses through state and federal criminal proceedings with transparency, ensuring they understand their rights and possible outcomes every step of the way. In my civil practice, I represent insurance carriers, trucking companies, and small businesses in litigation and dispute resolution. With more than 20 jury trials and numerous bench trials under my belt, I understand that litigation isn’t just about winning—it’s about achieving the best possible result for my clients. I take a strategic approach, helping clients assess risks, weigh their options, and determine the most effective path forward. Whether in trial, mediation, or settlement discussions, I work to protect my clients’ interests while minimizing their exposure. When I’m not advocating for my clients, you can find me on the golf course, hitting the slopes, or exploring new culinary experiences. I’m also a dedicated Iowa Hawkeyes fan and, most importantly, love spending time with my wife and children.
