About Erica Abbott

I believe in the power of a story. I am a graduate of Cabrini University (formerly Cabrini College), having obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about writing and editing and hope to allow these passions to shine through in everything I do. I am a very creative and hardworking person, as has been proven through my professional experience as an associate editor and during my time as a student. I am always willing to go the extra mile and won’t stop until a project has been effectively completed. Some of my accomplishments include starting and building a chapter of a nationally-recognized online magazine that resulted in an average circulation of over 50 percent after launching. I also contribute to a blogging community where I produce content on trending topics, resulting in over views on three of my top articles. I am known for balancing multiple projects at once and value working in a team setting that encourages feedback and motivation, thereby enriching the overall quality of the work. During my time at Cabrini, I was appointed the news editor of our student-run newspaper and I also worked as the senior copy editor on our department’s convergence capstone.
