About Erica Diamond

I am a Director of Contract Compliance, and on paper, my job entails securing funding from local, state, and federal government sources to progress my organization’s mission of ending homelessness. In reality, my work entails a lot more: advocacy, data analysis, and always adapting to new changes to policy. I see my role as one that educates and seeks to improve the community. And I pull on my eclectic background of professional and educational experience to accomplish this. Prior to joining Families in Transition, I worked as a civil litigation attorney for a Boston-based firm that focused on Probate Law, Business Law, Real Estate Law and Contract Disputes. Before attending law school at Boston University, I earned a B.A. and M.A. from UNC Chapel Hill for Romance Languages, specifically French and Francophone Literature. Outside of my 9 to 5, I am an artist, working with digital media, character creation, and design. I am a writer, a lover of travel, and an admirer of the arts, whether cinema, theater, or old music.
