About Erica Irwin

After graduating from the Western University, I began my IT career in enterprise security and identity management with Siemens. I quickly became their youngest Director for a solution line that under my management, had the highest earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) in the entire Canadian Operation. After 10+ years at Siemens, I made a pivot in 2008 and started my own business. With my extensive experience in vendor relations, contract negotiations, budget and project management as well as marketing and sales I decided to follow a passion for a different kind of service offering - wedding and event planning. I currently manage 12+ projects simultaneously on an annual basis, each with a list of over 10 vendors/ suppliers to manage, separate timelines, budgets and lists of deliverables. Then on "launch day", I need to be calm, organized and deliver my project with a smile and a sense of never-wavering confidence. As an entrepreneur, I also attained skills in social media, blogging, website management as well as being a guest on podcasts and radio. I am proud to have over 100 x 5 star Google rating, a very healthy Instagram following and an excellent reputation in the Ottawa area for my professionalism, integrity and reliability,
