About Erica Mitchell

I have a Master's of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology from California Baptist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Sport Psychology emphasis from California Lutheran University. While at CLU, I was a 4 year NCAA student-athlete on the Women's Golf team. I learned many things being a student-athlete in the NCAA. I worked hard to find the perfect balance of education and playing a sport. During my time at CBU, I worked with many NCAA DI athletes, as well as youth athletes, on their mental performance. Positive self-talk, motivation, goal setting, and focus are some of the few areas of mental performance/peak performance that I worked on with athletes. Currently, as a Neuroengineering Coach at Neurologics, I help individuals optimize their brains, improve cognitive function, and reach their cognitive potential using cutting-edge neurotechnology and evidence-based techniques. I have been working in this field for over two years, and have supported clients from different walks of life/disciplines. Some of the skills I use in my role are mental training, active listening, performance motivation, and feedback delivery. My mission is to empower my clients to reach their full potential and achieve their goals, using an individualized approach that considers their mental & emotional well-being. I am passionate about the intersection of neuroengineering, psychology, and performance, and I am always eager to learn new methods and tools.
