About Erica Wee
During my time in law school, I was honoured to represent the country and university at several of the largest international moot court competitions. This year, I spoke as the lead oralist in the first Singapore team to win the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in over two decades, where I was further named the Best Oralist at the Final Round and 3rd Best Oralist at the Preliminary Rounds against over 500 speakers. Before that, I ranked amongst the top 5% of all speakers at the 2024 Willem C. Vis Moot, 2nd amongst those competing at the 2024 PCA Vis Pre-Moot, and 1st amongst 100 speakers at the 2024 Deakin International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In competitions where I also acted as head writer, my teams won multiple awards and honourable mentions for best memorials. I am particularly interested in international commercial arbitration and investment arbitration, and have served as both a research and teaching assistant to projects and modules in these areas of law.
