Currently: I am working as a legal assistant for Junior Partner Michael D. Schoeck, Esq. on California Statewide Subrogation cases. I have a Bachelor of Laws in Mexico and Masters in Comparative Law in California. I have been working in litigation firms in California from 2014 to present. I prepared and took the California Bar Exam on 2018. On 2021 I completed a one year course preparation for the California Certified Court Interpreter's. I am experienced Interpreting: meetings, Mediations, Mandatory Settlement Conferences and Translating: pleadings, letters, contracts and documents from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. I worked for Gomez Law Group for 6 year a Legal Assistant on a Trial Firm environment 24/7. I supported the solo practitioner one of my mentors Alvin M. Gomez, Esq. on office filing, administrative, customer service, meeting with clients, training clients for Depositions, Trial and Mediation, filing in person and online with the courts, serving defendants in person or with a process server company. We worked on the following matters: Employment, Business, class actions, mass actions, Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases on California Superior Court and Supreme Court of California. I joined on 2021 my current professional passion and journey with the civil Subrogation Department on Siegel Moreno and Stettler, Supporting Michael Schoeck, Esq. as a Legal Assistant with multiple tasks: calendar, Court filing, serving defendants, also with evidence, discovery and successfully closing cases on the California Superior Court and Supreme Court of California.
