Erick is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of technology. His career is dedicated to developing technological solutions that enhance the everyday experiences of end-users. With over seven years of experience, Erick has worked across various sectors, including Ed-Tech and Banking, providing innovative industrial solutions. Currently, he is a Senior Software Developer at the National Microfinance Bank (NMB) in Tanzania, one of East Africa's most profitable and award-winning banks. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Apps Developer, as well as the Director of Technical Development at Shule Direct, an award-winning e-learning organization. At Shule Direct, he leveraged existing technology to improve access to qualified, relevant, and digital learning resources for youth both in and out of school across Africa. Established in his profession, Erick applies his expertise in computer programming to develop mobile applications and AI solutions. His contributions have made him a sought-after speaker at various platforms, including TEDx Majengo 2019, where he discussed using Artificial Intelligence to enhance the education sector in Tanzania. Erick's work has been featured on CGTN Africa in 2017 and 2020, showcasing Ticha Kidevu, an innovative AI chatbot he developed at Shule Direct to improve teaching and learning experiences. Committed to advancing the programming industry, Erick envisions making it more accessible and inclusive. He invented PaperCode, the first error-free AI-based framework that uses natural language, such as English, for mobile app development. This effective tool enables professionals, aspiring developers, and non-developers to create mobile app interfaces easily without writing source code. Erick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications from Lovely Professional University in India.
