About Erick Lopes

As the Head of Battery Product Management for Saft's Li-ion and Ni-Cd batteries in the Industrial, Mobility, and Infrastructure division, I have over +10 years of experience in the battery industry and a postgraduate degree in Railway Engineering. I am responsible for shaping the future of our battery portfolio, driving innovation, and managing a talented team of product managers and engineers. I foster collaboration across Saft to ensure seamless product development, launch, and support, while staying ahead of the curve in battery technology and market trends. I also support the Ni-Cd application pool and perform prescription seminars with local teams, as well as prepare and update the technical content of the commercial product documentation. Additionally, I manage communications and negotiations with key clients and internal teams, resolving issues and complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. My mission is to help customers around the world realize sustainable solutions to their energy problems through our innovative products. I am passionate about technology and how it can benefit people and the environment.
