About Erick Mainoo

As a Control Room Operator at SMU Lyle School of Engineering, I support the daily operations and maintenance of the engineering labs and facilities, ensuring their safety and functionality. I also collaborate with faculty and staff to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for various engineering projects and experiments, using my skills in SaaS development, JavaScript, and CSS. I am a CS student at SMU, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering. I am passionate about exploring the world of technology and expanding my knowledge in the field. I have a solid foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, and Assembly, and I have taken relevant courses in data structures, algorithms, assembly language, and software engineering. I have also been involved in various coding projects and competitions, where I have demonstrated my ability to tackle challenging problems and develop innovative solutions. I am currently seeking internship opportunities to further my skills and gain hands-on experience in the field of computer science. I am a quick learner and a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. I am always eager to take on new challenges and develop new skills. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy participating in hackathons and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in technology.
