About Erick Mora

I am Erick Mora, a Team Lead in R&D department at Roche Diagnostics, with over 5 years of experience in academia and the pharmaceutical industry. I have a strong background in virology field and a deep understanding of the development of diagnostics assays. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to innovation, adaptability, leadership, and excellence. My ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams has enabled me to contribute to the development of various diagnostic assays. Notably, I take great pride in being part of the Roche team responsible for the development of the SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test. In my current role as Team Lead of the DSP laboratory in the antigen design and protein expression technologies department, I am continuously learning and implementing new strategies to produce best in class antigens as reagents for our diagnostic assays. In addition to my professional experience, I am dedicated to continuous learning and growth. I actively seek opportunities to expand my knowledge in the business realm and enhance my leadership skills. That's why I currently completed an Executive MBA at TUM School of Management in Munich. Beyond my professional career, I thrive on adventure. My love for travel, hiking, and outdoor activities has taken me to incredible places and allowed me to engage in enriching cultural exchanges.
