About Erick Morales

Recognized by peers for my inquisitive nature and ability to ask thoughtful questions. I have a strong interest in math and am able to communicate complex problems effectively. I have experience with MATLAB through projects and tutorials. I also take teamwork as an exciting opportunity and am always looking forward to giving presentations. Through my engineering design project, I was able to develop a prototype in collaboration with three other team members. We were able to design a feeder for a Red River Hog at the Houston Zoo and present our engineering design process to members of the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen. Through this experience, I learned how to collaborate with others and was able to sharpen my presentation skills. I am passionate about making an impact in the future. Growing up in Houston, I was always impressed by how massive and complex the buildings of the city were and it inspired me to one day make a contribution as impactful as the Houston skyline. Through my experiences, I have always found myself curious to learn more and am not hesitant to ask questions. Outside of school, I enjoy going out to explore the city with my friends and living new experiences. At the end of the day, I am always looking out for others and help those in need.
