About Erick Sanchez

The only rest worth taking, is rest that is earned. These are words that an old friend of mine told me, that changed my life forever. After struggling a year after high school trying to figure out what I wanted to do, I found out quickly that I loved business and entrepreneurship. Through hard work and perseverance, I managed to put myself through school with no debt, and graduated from San Diego State University in 2020. I also simultaneously became the manager for one of California’s biggest Valvoline Instant Oil Change’s and learned the ins and outs of the automotive industry. In 2016 I also co-founded Barrios Construction. At work I wear many hats. I always encourage my colleagues to have fun, while still being safe and getting the job done right. I was also in charge of managing over 20 employees and have learned how to approach different personalities effectively. I also try to take care of every employee, because a strong team, is the most important part of a foundation, for any company. My marketing skills include but are not limited to: • HubSpot, and WordPress proficiency • Video/photo editing • Music Creation • Data gathering and analysis • Social Media management and creation I always strive to make learning and self-improvement a way of life. When I am not working, I love reading, exercising, building my Rx-7, and watching movies with my Pomeranian. Staying busy is an important part of who I am, but I also think that it is equally important to recognize that sometimes you must slow down, and experience life.
