About Erick Saul

I started my career as a Process Engineer in an engineering firm. After successfully deliver many projects for the company for several years, I am entrusted to expand my scope to include Safety engineering. I am then took another role which specialized in Process Safety engineering for a Carbon Black manufacturer. The job marks my journey as a Safety specialist in Process Safety Management, which I did several years of Process Safety Management roles, either in a manufacturing facility, consultant, and oil and gas corporate management team. I learned on how to develop standards and procedures, implementing them in the facility, and ensuring the continuous improvement effort are followed by every employee in the company. Since I am hungry to learn different things, I took a role for sales and engineering in an equipment packager company. This time, I learned a lot about sales, liaising with both customers and suppliers, managing a team of technicians, learning the details of refrigeration process, gas dehydration process, LPG process, and many more. I also delivering more projects as Process Engineer. Right now, I am a Plant Manager in a completely new industry for myself. However, by using my knowledge and experience in previous works, I am now delivering production, managing the whole process in a tobacco processing factory, managing both CAPEX and OPEX of the factory, and ensuring the overall equipment efficiency are up to high standard. I am a firm believer that constantly improving myself and learning different things can lead me to make impacts to company and society, and ultimately a successful life.
