As an Optical Hardware Engineering Technician, I specialize in the precise alignment and testing of complex laser-based systems. With hands-on experience in optical inspection, calibration, and system verification, I ensure high-quality, reliable hardware performance through meticulous execution and attention to detail. I thrive in cross-functional environments—working closely with hardware, software, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle. I’m experienced in supporting both R&D and manufacturing phases, assembling sub-systems, running QA/QC procedures, and proactively identifying and resolving hardware issues. I bring a strong focus on laser safety, system reliability, and continuous process improvement. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, I’m always looking for ways to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards. I’m currently open to new opportunities where I can contribute my technical skills, collaborative mindset, and commitment to excellence in optical hardware systems. • Experience working within ISO ISO 13485, AS9100 or similar regulated environments is desired • Experience using precision hand tools and measuring equipment • Prior experience with precision optical alignment techniques, lasers, CMOS cameras, PMTs and other optical components is highly desired • Experience with Office 365 • Lab experience handling biological agents is highly desired • Configure laser systems and optics, ability to follow optical alignment protocols • Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuits • Experience handling PCBAs and other electronic components • Knowledge of basic statistics
