About Ericka Collins

As the Facility Security Officer, Ms. Collins oversees and manages all facets of facilities security program on a daily basis. This includes monitoring the access control and security system and ensuring compliance with established protocols. She performs other security functions that include developing and implementing security programs and training, drafting procedures to ensure mission success and updates to corporate policies. She processes access control requests, as well as initiating and reviewing clearance actions and maintains personnel security files and databases. Ms. Collins also conducts employee security training and awareness briefings to ensure compliance with contractual security requirements as well as educate and motivate personnel to protect people, property and classified/sensitive information. She conducts security briefings/debriefings. Provides support to HR, Legal, Contracts and Proposals Teams. She is the liaison to multiple US Government counterparts. Ms. Collins takes initiative, provides good written and oral communication skills, and can multitask, while having the flexibility to deal with short deadlines and demanding customers. Recently, she was team lead on a project creating resumes in a newly devised SharePoint database.
