I am currently looking for placement for Practicum (10 wks/100 hrs) and then Internship A (15 weeks/300 hrs) and Internship B (15 week/300 hrs) I received my Associates degree in Elementary Education in May 2015. Part of my Associates degree courses included a Psychology class for which I received an A. I began my Masters in Clinical Counseling and Mental Health in August 2017. I am currently still in this program. I have spent nearly three years working with kids with Autism. I've worked with kids as young as 4 and old as 16. I am currently in the process of looking for a spot to complete my practicum and internship hours. I have worked in various areas of retail for many years; cashier/clerk, stocking, shift manager/team lead and assistant store manager. I have great customer service skills on the phone and in person and enjoy working with people to help resolve issues or finding items they are looking to purchase. I ran a licensed home based daycare for one year (2003-2004), before a family move. Prior to that I had taken care of children of all ages beginning at the age of 14, I took care of my younger sister and the household. I had my own two daughters with me daily and took care of their needs as well as all household duties, financial matters, diet, discipline and extra curricular activities.
